I get that! Contemporary might be easier for a YA/NA distinguishing. For fantasy it often seems like it's YA writing + characters, but with more smutty themes, which is sad.

You probably could! I just think a lot of fantasy have had the unfortunate habit of discussing bigger themes in books that have been labelled as YA before NA got coined as a term.
