Big, money-thirsty companies be producing, promoting and selling fudging STRAWS worth millions and millions, like our lives depended on it! And we as brainwashed consumers be sitting over here like; yeah I wanna save the planet and all that BUT I NEED MY STRAWS (note: plural), and there is not really anything we can do other than point fingers like everyone else and sip on our eco friendly, cruilty-free, zerso-waste, expensive METAL-straws.......

GUYS!!! Get your fricking egos out of your butts for ONE second, swallow a little, healthy portion of your prides and point at yourselves for once! Are we really that dumb, that we let some random egotistic man with too much money and too much of an arena for voice (ex youtube, yeah, right?), convince us how to live our lives and how to use our money?? I am so sad at the moment, because I've recently had the biggest realization about this, and I can not unsee it! We always have a choice, we always have several paths, we always have power, and we can always do something! ♥  You would and WILL do SOO much for the climate, the future, our kids, the animals, the planet and yourself if you just started boycott stuff like frickin' STRAWS (whomever's idea that was), unless you unfortunalety depend on straws to transfer liquid inside your mouth because of paralysis or something. Actually, a little secret; WE sit on all the power.. If WE stop demanding everything we're told we need, and start thinking realistically once in a while and maybe go out to plant a tree instead of go shopping every other week, bigass coorporatioons could eventually be brought to court for producing sham and idiotoc stuff -in other words; directly punish those who are in charge of polluting our planet, not the brainwashed and "weak, powerless people"..

MEDITATE -it actually works, clears, .heals and helps! ♥

I feel like more and more people for some reason are awaking to the reality we unfortunately live in atm climate-wise, politics-wise etc -it is scary af so I understand why people freak out (it's overwhelming), but there is always a way and we can always start to day, looking forward to a brighter future. We freak out because it seems unaffordable -and we are made to easily think it's not worth it, or that we can't do it -it's all bull, OFC WE CAN DO SOMETHING (but they don't want us to know, because we would be able to CHANGE EVERYTHING if we "wake up" and figures this out)

I couldn't care less.

We keep pushing these kinds of problem forwards just to prioritize the ones more "easily" solved which we usually solve in a way that makes everyone frustrated ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

not really because i dont pay any attention to this crap but if u take a problem that really isnt a problem then you take a real problem that needs to be solved, just take a lil peek and youll see how much people are paying attention to the non existing problem vs the real problem lol

Nah.. honestly, I think we have to think outside of the system we live in today, to find the «right» answer to our problems. This would once again, just make us slaves to the system -I’m not for that at all! All the answers lays beyond the Capitalsm and the concept of «money».. The big cooporations should be placed in charge of this, because it NEEDS to be done.. Instead of drilling after oil for example, those with money and power should be imposed to offset human carbon footprint instad! That’s two problems solved at once, right there! Finding another solution for our use for oils is another question tho..

Money should be used as a resource for fixing already existing problems ON BEHALF of the humanity, the animals and the planet, not be used as a tool to further get more money and power.

can i say something offensive like always
but why are people freaking out now? hasn't this been a thing for a long long time like i swear ive heard about climate change since 2009 but it's only last year and this year people actually suddenly seem to care

and suddenly "zero waste" is a hot thing which.... can be debated how genuine it actually is and how much of it is just painting up a picture, how many times have i actually used my metal straws? maybe 5 but appariently its a "must have"

i also feel like sometimes all the responsibility is put on us consumers when its about what you can afford and what you have access to and even then SURE you can buy this schampoo bar on etsy that says its handmade and vegan and zero waste but its going to get here on a plane
because we got 18 months left to restore it and people only react when there's a time pressure
