yeah i feel lik id use a tinier pot a lot because easier to make small amount of food in that tbh i hate getting out big pot when i just wanna make some noodles or whatever, or boil an egg -_-
When I make noodles I just make them straight in the bowl, like yum-yum, with water from kettle. But small pot works good for other ones that need boiling yes. But not too small otherwise water go everywhere

yes the bigger one is what i need, i would use the second one for baking but i would never get one like that myself
