what part of it isnt working maybe i can help??
basically i get it to launcher where it says i need to put in disk, or i open it without the launcher and like all the options and menus are gone so u cant start it ; - ; tried searching for it but its really hard to navigate cos g4tws forums closed apparently so im trying to access things through wayback machine n stuff and idk when the issue arized cause base game + one expansion worked so i think i just gotta,,, redo it and istall one at a time....

actually do u have the link to where u downloaded maybe thats better organized...

yeah you need to

install base game
put crack in folder
install expansion 
put.. crack in folder again just to be sure?

but yeah it won't work if you don't have at least one expansion.
