We were forced to do cursive all of primary school, if u forgot gym clothes u ended up w cursive lessons.. 
But also idk how teachers cud even understand us I remember lookin at classmates'texts nd was like man wtf hav u written here

I struggled with it a lot because no one ever explained to me that it was supposed to be for writing faster and that you didn’t have to mimic the shapes perectly when writing so I just gave up and never learnt capital letters and I’d still struggle writing more than a word
