Ah, I see. I feel like some passions might be best to stay hobbies, if the cons outweigh the pros I mean. But maybe it will be worth it in the end and even if you don't end up working with it, it has probably been a good experience!
I love to draw, but I don't think i could ever work with something like that because I think I would just get tired of having to "force" creativity all the time instead of drawing when I feel like it. Then again, I've never had a job, so I don't have a clue what suits me best...
My life has basically only been dance since I was four, so it hasn't ever only been a hobby. I don't know who I am without dance, which is what I kind of want to figure out now. Growing up as a dancer has taught me a lot of things, definitely. In a way I want to try to do something else, maybe something that will in fact make me happier with my overall life, but I'm also not sure if I'm ready to completely give up dancing since I still love it so much.
Yes, "forcing" the creativity is hard, and often things doesn't come to you when you need it to. That's why the time requirements from those who give out money don't always work with the life of an artist, cause creativity don't come with force.
Ouf, thank god it's not only me who ha never had a job! But isn't there anything you can see yourself doing? Like it can literally be whatever you want
I mean, you can always try something new without leaving the dance behind, but maybe you don't have enough time or energy for that atm?
Yeah, I feel like everyone have at least had one job.. No unfortunately I have no clue what I want to do. Right now I just want something simple, with as little social contact as possible lmao. Just so that I gain experience and earn money, while I keep thinking about what I actually want to do. I also want to get my drivers license, but I just never get to it
It is a possibility yes, but I want to either be 100% focused on dance or just not do it at all, if you know what I mean. And yes, at the moment I'm too exhausted to do anything else on top of all the hours of dancing every day.
Well I haven't, if you don't count the three-day acting job I had once tho, so you're not alone. Hm, I see, and that choice is definitely not easy. But it would probably be a good thing as you say to get a small simple job just to gain some experience, while you figure things out. But you don't really need to feel the pressure to figure things out either, it's also a possibility to just let life happen in a way and just take all the opportunities you can get with open arms. Ah, having a drivers license is the best thing ever, and I'm sure you'll get it if really want to! How long have you been practicing to drive, and how old are you if you don't mind me asking?

Got you!
How was that acting job? I've always liked to like play characters and stuff (my best childhood friend and I made tons "movies" together when we were kids), so maybe I want to try that out in the future if I get the chance.
I'm just afraid nothing will happen if I just "let life happen", because things can't happen if I don't even leave the house and don't take any risks. It's so hard to have to take initiative and actually do something, rather than just having someone tell me what to do. One of the reasons I still don't have my drivers license probably. Because it's not mandatory, I never do it. I have been driving a couple of times since the beginning of fall this year. I'll be 21 next year.

It was just being in the background and stuff, so I didn't have a character or any lines or anything, but I mean you can still see me on NRK (the like main Norwegian TV channel) so that's kind of fun, haha! But I'll definitely try auditioning for another acting job again, cause it was fun. And yeah, that's something you could try out?
You have to dare to take those risks if you're choosing that path, which is scary, but it's definitely possible nowadays. But getting an education and a job thereafter is definitely a safer option, if that's what you want. That's true, but unfortunately life kind of requires you to take initiative and actually go for what you want. But I totally understand you, cause I think that's hard myself, which is why I haven't had more projects and jobs yet either. Hm, I see, living in the middle of nowhere I kind of had to get it as quickly as possible to be able to be "free" and not reliant on my parents in a way, which I'm thankful for now. But if you just decide on it now and set a goal to like get your license within the summer or something, that's definitely possible, but then again you have to take that initiative.

If there is a point in the future where I'm less anxious, I will probably try it out.
Yeah, that's a big problem actually and it doesn't matter if it's something I truly want to do, because I just can't get to it. I feel like I'm stuck in a loop doing the same things day in and day out.
Thankfully I have a bus to town every half hour and my dad can give me a ride sometimes, but it would be so nice to be able to drive by myself whenever I want. Maybe that would make me leave the house more.
