It is a possibility yes, but I want to either be 100% focused on dance or just not do it at all, if you know what I mean. And yes, at the moment I'm too exhausted to do anything else on top of all the hours of dancing every day.
Well I haven't, if you don't count the three-day acting job I had once tho, so you're not alone. Hm, I see, and that choice is definitely not easy. But it would probably be a good thing as you say to get a small simple job just to gain some experience, while you figure things out. But you don't really need to feel the pressure to figure things out either, it's also a possibility to just let life happen in a way and just take all the opportunities you can get with open arms. Ah, having a drivers license is the best thing ever, and I'm sure you'll get it if really want to! How long have you been practicing to drive, and how old are you if you don't mind me asking?
Got you!
How was that acting job? I've always liked to like play characters and stuff (my best childhood friend and I made tons "movies" together when we were kids), so maybe I want to try that out in the future if I get the chance.
I'm just afraid nothing will happen if I just "let life happen", because things can't happen if I don't even leave the house and don't take any risks. It's so hard to have to take initiative and actually do something, rather than just having someone tell me what to do. One of the reasons I still don't have my drivers license probably. Because it's not mandatory, I never do it. I have been driving a couple of times since the beginning of fall this year. I'll be 21 next year.
It was just being in the background and stuff, so I didn't have a character or any lines or anything, but I mean you can still see me on NRK (the like main Norwegian TV channel) so that's kind of fun, haha! But I'll definitely try auditioning for another acting job again, cause it was fun. And yeah, that's something you could try out?
You have to dare to take those risks if you're choosing that path, which is scary, but it's definitely possible nowadays. But getting an education and a job thereafter is definitely a safer option, if that's what you want. That's true, but unfortunately life kind of requires you to take initiative and actually go for what you want. But I totally understand you, cause I think that's hard myself, which is why I haven't had more projects and jobs yet either. Hm, I see, living in the middle of nowhere I kind of had to get it as quickly as possible to be able to be "free" and not reliant on my parents in a way, which I'm thankful for now. But if you just decide on it now and set a goal to like get your license within the summer or something, that's definitely possible, but then again you have to take that initiative.
If there is a point in the future where I'm less anxious, I will probably try it out.
