Hm, I feel you. I don't really know what to say as I've only followed this same path all my life and haven't gone after any opportunities or tried new things either. Literally, applying for NT was me getting out of my comfort zone and trying something new. Your best option is probably to take baby steps and just start with, as you said, just getting a simple job and then take things as they come after that. And who knows, maybe you'll even really enjoy that simple job and end up staying there for years, or you'll get an opportunity from having that job that will completely change you life.

Yeah, if I try to imagine my future I will just get overwhelmed and do nothing, so it's best to focus on small goals. 
Definitely. It would honestly be nice just to drive somewhere to go on a walk in a pretty forest or have road trips. And the best part; staying warm when I have to leave the house in the winter. It sucks when you have to walk to and from the bus when it's freezing outside and maybe you have to wait in the cold for 30 minutes. If I have a car I can just go whenever or even wait in the car.

But then you know what works for you, and then you can focus on those small goals and just take life one day at a time.There's definitely no need to have your whole life planned out! 
Going on road trips alone is the best thing, honestly. It just feels so freeing and you can sing as loud as you want while just driving far away from your life, haha!

Yeah, I can't wait to be able to go anywhere I want whenever I want! It will also help when I eventually get a job, so I don't have to rely on buses
