yeah it actually feels kinda crazy when u really compare how we have it here to other countries
it's a great system because it actually motivates people to care about their studies... like me for example, i genuinely HATE being in school. the system is just not made for me in any way. but rn i'm still committed to finishing my three years at my current school JUST because i'm getting money from the government for it and they will stop giving me the money if i drop out or fail  (even tho what i'm getting rn isn't from the csn guys, it's more like compensation money because the school system has failed to meet my personal needs and i've had to be held back in my schooling as a result, also very luxurious)
Literally, just for that reason, I wish I could live in like Sweden or another country that has such a system that rewards or supports its students better because if I had it I might've been done with a master's right now 
hell I don't even need extra money just enough to study n get by lmao
