Ah, I get that... Are you sick of all parts of dance history?
No I din't not! The entire project was 40k words so that would have been insane. No, it was only the choice of my subject I kept changing my mind on until the deadline (tho to be fair I did finish editing it and adding the last sources at 5am the day I had to hand it in - but it was multiple hours before the actual deadline!)
Yes exactly, that is the sad part about life. I really hope it's gonna come soon ^^
I really get that, I feel the same way about my stupid ideas ^^
Exactly, that would be nice to have.
Oooh that sounds fun! I wanna read it
yess
Yeah, have had it for a few years and it's just the same again and again, lol. But I'm also kinda sick of dance in general so...
40k words...?! That's insane. I've never had a project that big before, lol, the perks of being a dance student and not actually doing full on academics. Like the essay I'm writing now is supposed to be 2000 - 2500 words, and that's on a BA level.
Ah, I see. 4 - 6 am is the perfect time to do schoolwork tho, lmao. But good job on actually finishing that project, and with hours to spare. I'm impressed! What was it about?
And it will!
haha, #life
If I rewrite it you might get the chance to, haha!
Well, in that case doing a dance major may not be the best idea? Do you have any options of trying something else for a while?
Yeah... It's a project every danish student has to make in the final year of gymnasium. Basically you have to choose two subjects and a topic, and then you'll get a personalised writing assignment. You have roughly two weeks from you get the actual assignment till you have to hand it in, and it is the dread of all students (though I actually kind of liked it..) But you usually have to write between 30 and 40k words and everything has to be super academic with a shit ton of sources and the like.
Well, our normal assignments were about that, max, as well, it was just this crazy one called SRP that was different.
It really is, I honestly think I wrote most of that project between 22pm and 4am, everyone thought I was insane
I wrote in math and history about navigation in the 16th century, the discovery of america and it's consequences, as well as doing some mathematical proofs and calculations based on historical evidence and the type of math you use to calculate your placement from the sun.
I actually wrote a blog article a while back that covered just a tiny bit of the paper, it's
here if you're interested
Yes. I looked at special days and now I might have an idea...
Please do!
