Fact is goSupermodel closed down once due to lack of funds and income, and now the company isn't looking to be in good shape, and you can't help but wonder if this is just history repeating itself.
they definitely chose the wrong child haha
I bet they read about the incredible success of ES and were so so mad
They should've spent the money they used on Momio on a good goSupermodel app to keep their users who started using a smartphone more than a computer. An app in appstore would also have attracted new children to the website.
That's honestly also my theory. I've also heard someone mention, that Momio having a restriction of users over 18 also makes it bad business, because they don't have anywhere to get the continued business of people after they turn 18.
The aesthetic of those games changed a lot too, the pixel era is mostly over and with the quality of modern screens many of the old layouts look just ugly, even nostalgia can't stop me from thinking it looks ugly.
