Yeah if its underskudd, its just that they earned less than they used for the site for 2021, but they should have more money backup

Yeah I’ve kinda figured they’re trying to make up the difference so they’ll start increasing revenue yearly again instead of decreasing it

companies have bad years all the time
and being in debt doesn't usually mean they're on the verge of bankruptcy

they  have a list of things they plan to work on if the donations exceed the 35k they needed, 
but these campaigns do much better if you pop in with mini stretch goals like "at 5k we can add ______"

Yeah I doubt they planned on hitting the goal this fast they probably thought they had like 3 more weeks at least to work on things before people expected answers lol

That's fair. 
Chances are their regular team is just going to add GSM to to their normal duties, and this fundraiser is for costs and labor above-and-beyond those existing salaries - which sounds like it'd be pretty hard to predict lol

In order to make this profitable they'll have to be actively recruiting younger users
