I left gSm for a while, even deleted my model and everything, and then came back a few months before it shut down, so my experiences with it coming back were different because I was older and gSm was not that active anymore. I can very much see that, and in parts agree with you. I was a member of the focus group on the norwegian site until they decided we weren't needed anymore, and my engagement and enjoyment with the site for the last year or so was rather lackluster due to the inactivity and how the small responsibility I had prior to them discontinuing FG was giving me some enjoyment. So I hope that now that they are relaunching, that the site will have a proper and functioning team running it, and that there will be shit to do for people who aren't also assigned roles.

i mean yeah that's the definition of a non fully functioning site, and alphas/betas are usually also locked to a picked group of testers for quality control + bc the server at that point (at least) might not b able to handle all the ~1k ppl who have funded the campaign + those who haven't haha. which i imagine would/will anger some super hyped ppl. they haven't promised an early access to any of the perks and have indicated that it will be open for free and for everyone once they do launch the site

fixes can and should always be done before and actively continued after the launch if they wanna be succesful. once the funding is over they won't survive longer than a few months unless a miracle happens and ppl drop loads of money (thousands) on vip n stuff
