Oh yeah I do that too, I just use a combo and also use the wipes to hold the poop fur so I don’t have to touch it lol 
sometimes Percy steps in his shit so then I use them to clean his paws since I can’t really cut that fur off

Percy is at least very obsessive about covering it, but I suspect that is why he sometimes steps in it lol
