housing crisis actually makes it so people are desperate to get apartments here, even the expensive ones  we had to "compete" with several people and couples to get it.... and we do want to move somewhere cheaper, however apartments here are now even more expensive... and i cant really move out of the city rn because of uni 

we cant save at all lol, we have nothing in our savings account

its not even a nice apartment complex... they told us it was quiet, but its incredibly noisy 
we've found drugs in the hallway, and the police is outside almost every weekend  dont like our neighbors either


but i know i should atleast be grateful for having a roof over my head, and that we can afford food. sometimes i just have to complain a little bit

I think it's fair to be miserable. Even if you're not rock bottom, it's okay to want better conditions too! Especially when you pay that much for an apartment....

aren't their cheaper stuff with long waitlists.... just to prepare for better conditions
