yeah, it is awful
may i ask why you hate it? (again)
I find a lot of people from Oslo ignorant regarding dialects, I am no fan of people trying to copy how I talk. Further, the architecture is horribly ugly at best. I have only seen a few places I have been okay with. It is next to impossible to get to know new people without drinking alcohol or doing anything that cost money, so I end up spending about 85% of the time I am in Oslo alone, and believe it or not - I am an extrovert. I get genuinely mentally drained from being there. I have also had far too many issues with the apartment I rent via SiO and the day I finally won't have to deal with them will be a fanastic day. I also manage to have serious issues with the weather in Oslo, and .. I can go on and on and on.
actually all of these things makes sense. especially the getting to know new people without drinking part. It's very difficult to get new friends here.

i think i would have hated oslo as well if i didn't grow up here. so i do have friends and i don't live in a sio apartment but in an apartment far from the city center.

I live ish at Grünerløkka and I H A T E it. I have never been a fan of Oslo, I went because its cheaper for me regarding Rikshospitalet but by the end of my BA it will be sorted out so then we'll see. And because I wanted to study linguistics, the only other option was Bergen and then i would have had to travel to Oslo. And deal with them saying boss for garbage.

I have never liked Oslo much either

ugh, i would have died if i lived at grünerløkka, like it's a nice place to just visit for a little while, but i would never be comfortable living there. ahh yes that makes sense. I hope everything sorts out for you.

It's not for me. I like cities but not that one lmao. I've set my mind on getting away and I will no matter what. Even if I have to carry my own possessions myself to a different place I will leave Oslo next summer.
