Good comparison. They both have off putting personalities, but are incredibly good at their jobs. The Mentalist is a little like that, too.

yes! i can't remember the character in the mentalist, patrick? yeah they all seem to be a with .. outstanding. and that's kinda interesting to watch, since they investigate and are just like S. Homes. love those characters :')

I didn't think he was that violent. And tbh.. I forgot I read the newsarticle about it and was shocked when he quit the series but realized a time after xD

Okay. I'm glad they didn't tolerate any violence, though. I know it was just hitting and kicking, but still.
