do you guys have tips for identifying plants? maybe a book or an app

I think 2 already did
google lens
google lens DOES that????
wtf
I tried different apps but google lens and looking in the pictures till you find the right one usually leads me to the right name.

There is also r/houseplants on reddit, possibly the nicest subreddit in existence

Remembering what the latin label says when getting it.

I'm unfortunately only a known person when it comes to foraging and wild plants
I only got 1 of the plants in the room so it is kinda hard to know but I will use Sylvan's advice and try to scan it with google lens and see

I have to say that is so very cool I wish I'd know more about it

it's really really pretty. I got it for 2 euro, so it was hard to say no.

yes !! and then google and see if there are known similars.

The best way to go for wild nature is by starting with easily identifiable stuff/stuff known in the area and slowly adding on!

I also found a plant in the trash once before we moved, and it's thriving here

I never had one but I think yes.

There is usually more than one method to propagate but I find cuttings in water the easiest one.

honestly before going to that market I NEVER knew how expensive they can get, mil told me that market was cheap compared to normal stores, and the prices there weren't that cheap as well, crazy

This is also what I have stuff for, because I prefer hydroponic plants...

Some of the most popular house plants are so expensive if you don't get them as baby small ?? it's so weird

I love saving plants. I have killed enough plants of my own unfortunately sad

My room is very dark so it's mostly low light plants for me.
