giving up ur name is bad enough, but leaves options. depending on ur name, there can be hundreds with the exact same name as u. u can even fake your name. but giving ur face locks ur identity
i understand publishing every second of our lives has become normalized thanks to internet, however i would still practice caution. i'm not sure if any of the chosen mods are underage, however that is a whole separate concern, esp depending on how gsm contracted them

As far as I know neither I, nor a lot of the other applicants attached photos, additionally, quite a few of the new moderators have chosen not to have their picture on display, so the assumption is just that for now, an assumption. And even if we are majority white, who says diversity is only defined by colour? ôo
