There are lots of cakes I prefer not eating due to their sweetness. Though there is also a difference in the way cakes are sweet. 
And kransekage sweet is just not my favorite sweet, I can eat one small piece and then that's enough. Especially because I'll then walking around with the taste of kransekage in my mouth for the rest of the night.
