unfortunately im very bony and can't sleep on my back so it is an inevitability. im thinking of taking my massive hiking rucksack just so i can carry an extra blanket or pillow or something to at least be able to sleep on my side somewhat comfortably, then i could also take my sleeping bag so you'd have a tiny bit less to carry
OH YEAH after u get home i wanted to call u n just talk over everything i need to clear my head n get stuff sorted so i can get in the right headspace. with trains and the tent and stuff
Ack that sounds not super fun yes… if you can bring big backpack might be good with more blankets yes I will see how much I can bring from my place too weee devilcake wrote:
it's alright. i get more used to it after the first night tho im very likely to wake up multiple times because my limbs lose bloodflow from sleeping on them remains wrote:
i mean i think it's a positive that sleeping poorly is the worst nightmare scenario for the trip that my mind can cook up instead of falling overboard or getting robbed. tho there is like a teeeeeny tiny bit of "haha what if you get a heart attack because you cant sleep" but that's about it
the negative side is that it is a scenario that's going to happen because it always does and has, the first night sleeping on a hard surface i usually get 2-4 hours of rest
Aj aj yes that’s true there are worse things one can worry about although poor sleep is also such a thing I understand why it’s stressful😭i mean i think it's a positive that sleeping poorly is the worst nightmare scenario for the trip that my mind can cook up instead of falling overboard or getting robbed. tho there is like a teeeeeny tiny bit of "haha what if you get a heart attack because you cant sleep" but that's about it
