Maybe I just didn't enjoy how unserious he was but then again I guess that's what his character is supposed to be like  It just felt a bit misplaced compared to the first season where everyone is genuinely afraid for their lives.

i agree, i couldn't tell if it was the character he was trying to play or his acting but i really didn't like him either

this, i think is also true, 
idk this season just lacked. it didnt have the same "oomph" that season 1 did

I dont want to say it was ai written but they are all too perfectly stereotypical for it to interesting at all

Idk i think it makes sense bcs he was constantly on drugs but its true that the s2 characters suck

is squid game considered a horror series?  i agree on the characters being worse than in s1 but i feel like his over the top character was valid considering that choosing the same personalities as in s1 wouldve been boring so i like that there is more variety.  Not trying to say ppl cant hate his character but I think thanos wouldve been liked more if the rest of the characters in s2 were delivering but none of them were not even the protagonist. Thanos probably stood out but i think the character on its own is fine esp bcs he is that goofy bcs he is on drugs. They shouldve made him a bigger villain imo but him dying that early kind of contributed to him just being there to annoy ppl
