we used to have ribbe but it's like it's not anything either of us particularly enjoy and because my aunt and her family celebrated new years with us for a few years so we had to change the tradition of pinnekjøtt then to turkey because my aunt doesn't eat pinnekjøtt we changed to eating pinnekjøtt on christmas and basically abandoning ribbe completely 
(plus i pointed out like why do we have ribbe if no one wants it)
