yes i was actually!!! i thought i wasn't but then when i started watching it i remembered i read both song of achilles and circe so i actually knew all the lore inside out LOL
aaa it was unfortunate!! i think i would've liked watching it at home waayy more if i could just zone out a couple of times without ppl thinking im weird yaknow... or like be on vp at the same time or something, i would have enjoyed it more then!Â
Oh cool!! My knowledge of it mostly comes from percy jackson and epic the musical lmaooo. I do have song of achilles somewhere bc my ex randomly bought it for me, but i never got around to reading it whoops
this makes sense!! I prefer watching stuff at home too, the only thing i usually go to cinema for is marcel movies with my brother, honestly
i think epic the musical will be moooore than enough lore knowledge to understand the setting of the odyssey, like basically all u need 2 know is that the trojan war happened lmaoÂ
its a good book but it's also a little sad imo!! i think i gave it 3 out of 5 stars because i had a tough time getting into it, but im very glad i read it anyways bc i feel more cultured nowÂ
yeaa, like the only upside to cinema for me is the big screen, but other than that i think the sound is always too loud and i wanna talk about the movie while its happening hahaÂ

i think marvel movies are better suited to cinema watching than super serious movies like these
i'm very curious what u think of the movie when u do end up watching it though!!!Â
Hehe! Yeah i think the only reason i never picked it up was bc i was flabbergasted she ordered it to my house out of nowhere and also bc it was during my «im too depressed to enjoy reading like i used to» mood
