what was it that u actually meant that they misinterpreted 
i think it was very understandable to write a dumbed down version of "i want to escape society to go live in a cottage" is escapist romanticism built on stuff like american transcendentalism" and thus is a rejection of your responsibilities as a person in the society you live in in favor of leaving it. and that my opinion had changed from i used to 'dream' about escaping society for a cottage alone in the forest to realizing the most important thing i can do is changing it as a participatory force from within.

anyways, someone said it was classist because the poor and working class lived in cottages in the woods to find the 'leaving society for a cottage' something negative. 

like dude if you're connected to society you've not left it for a cottage alone in the woods
