dads just telling me to stay calm bc i started almost crying lol, and that we'll look at it when he gets home.. i tried saying he should call the vet cause they close at 15 but he just said he'd see what he could do, and that we wouldnt get in there today and that we'll look at it when he gets home. but im just so scared now
he's also saying that it must've happened a while ago and that he's not in pain and thats whats most important
Likely not acute pain / caused from trauma if you don’t see signs of pain or wound in mouth etc, but can be caused by tooth issues that do cause pain that he’s just living with (which I’m not saying to alarm you, literally most cats do bc no one brushes their teeth, I’m saying so that your dad doesn’t try to convince you to not take him to the vet bc he’s too lazy)
but not smth that needs to see an emergency vet/can’t wait for a scheduled appointment
i still do want him to call the vet, but im just resigned bc im very aware that if he doesnt agree i do not have the option or ability to get him there on my own
