Yeah... I'm fortunately off Thursday, so I have extra time to write, but it would be nice to hit 90K before next week. It might be easier to write more, if my thesis advisor answered my mail...

I really hope he does... until then I can procrastinate the last part of the data protection section and go straight for the AI-act, which I haven't written on, nd therefore have a lot of stuff to say about.

Fake it till you make it is the best advice you can ever get honestly ! I love that mindset

I hope I do... I am looking through the new law atm, and people say GDPR is hard to understand and go through, but this is an entirely new level of complicated. Most EU laws have a small "dictionary" in the start to help you understand what specific buzzwords mean in the context of the law. GDPR has 28 words/phrases in the small dictionary, while the AI act has 68 in its current draft form and looking through them I'm just like ?? what the actual fuck.

My favorite is deep fake, which now has a legal definition of "AI-generated or manipulated image, audio or video content that resembles existing persons, objects, places or other entities or events and would falsely appear to a person to be authentic or truthful"

And if it doesn't work you just have to keep trying ! then it usually gives jackpot

man, why make this so complicated this is not okay I'd cry ahahaha

deep fake is a disturbing thing and I do not know how other people aren't more concerned about it but then again I did all that I could to protect myself from this thing, even if it means having only to go out and being unable to access things via only internet
