they don't care. The people who write law books (mostly professors) always talk about how hard the work of making a text book is and how it almost doesn't pay, which is hilarious. One of our professors said he get 50 dkk for every copy sold, and he's written three books that are curriculum on the bachelor. We're 350+ people in a class, so if just 100 people buy his books  it's 7.500 dkk every year, which I think is fine for passive income! The books I studied in hasn't been updated in 4 years either.
