I unfortunately don't have autosave on in Word because it wouldn't let me :/ I've struggled with this since March, but since this computer has been stable and unproblematic forever, I didn't find it necessary. This is like a first-time rare instance of it ever closing down due to technical trouble.

I did, however, cry a little, and my boyfriend took pity on me and helped me get the tech working, so now it is autosaving, but now I can't remove comments or highlights throughout the document, which is problematic in its own way
i understand fully my ipad crashed at my art work and long hours of work vanished just like that, I cried and took a break for a few weeks.. its such a stupid thing that it doesnt auto save, that should be something any programme should priorotize
I agree... it really sucks that they don't. I did remember to save on cloud storage too so I can access no matter where, but apparently that's not even enough
