Idk much about these things but to me its common sense to get solid security before launching anything
If you can't do that then well then don't launch it and that's it
The non-secure website makes it really easy to find private stuff on the users as well. My ex was an it-guy and he went to a non-secured website to show me how easy it was to find people's passwords. It took him less than five minutes, no programs used just the right-click "inspect element" to check and find everyone's e-mail address and password.
