What's your point ? 80k is still not a lot considering all the unreasonable expectations people here for a RELAUNCH.
My point, in short sentences for you:
GSM said that they need 35k to run the site.
They got 80k.
The site is not running at all.
Not good! ):
Ok, let me explain it to you
They got 80k (which isn't a lot)
The site has obviously problems, which is to be expected from a website that is from 2016, relaunching in 2022
They are fixing the problems
Fixing won't automatically happen and will take time.
Be grateful they're actually trying, they could've just dipped out and kept all the money (legally).
Man I know all this! They should've calculated and estimated it better first. Then they should've tested it as well. Both are standard procedures and it should be safe to assume that they have been done. I know that using the users as beta testers is a technique too, but it is not a very popular one for a reason: you lose customers and their money with half-assed site. Kills all the joy. The problems this major should be fixed before launch, games or in-game-economics is secondary and could be fixed in a month or two yes. But the site should run when it is launched. And it should not be launched until it runs [in a test environment which is not the actual users].
