Exactly and now they're working on it. I already admitted they probably rushed it to keep the type but it is what it is
You clearly don't understand my last point, because you've been arguing against all this while.

The website is still disappointing and shit, and you need to hold the company accountable if you want them to survive.
It wouldn't be disappointing if you had reasonable expectations. Also, you think holding a company accountable is bitching and whining about something they're actually working on and fixing as we speak?
What would been reasonable expectations in your opinion
Literally nothing worked on the site for entire day and now it's been down for hours

it kinda reminds me of the sims

my mac freezes everytime i try to play it, and lets be real; we all love the sims 2 mainly because of the nostalgia right

its the same with gsm
i wasn't even entirely sure how to feel about a reboot of it. I loved chatting about the good old days but idk if i want to relieve them
i would be lying if i said i didn't love that gsm relaunched but if they don't bring back wardrobe challenge i'm going to eat their clothes
wardrobe challenge seems to be one of the main things ppl want back, and backstage rush. it's things to spend hours on that require no other contribution from other ppl or game ppl, like ppl can just play. and hopefully, you can buy more clothes after a while. they should have made at least one of those games anew before launching imo

Well, that's also my style, so can't fault them for that.

Taking a company's side when people are complaining about them not doing the bare minimum is, however, a little questionable.
I think both can exist like you can want the company to succeed and know that they need time to make the needed changes happen, AND you're allowed to voice your fair criticism about how it is as a user of the site bc the lag, the lack of https, the lack of really entertainment at the "opening party" was disappointing and they should have known better.
I think most people's criticism come from a "we want this to succeed so why are you fucking it up" though, so I think most of it is meant for them to be better for the overall good. For me it's the same side of the coin and not two different sides.

It's also okay to be disappointed in a product you were excited about, because it didn't live up to standard, but also still enjoying it. That's at least the take-away I got from the Pokemon flop of the new games.

sims 2 is so painful because i love it and then the save files get corrupted and the game becomes impossible to enjoy and everything gets ruined so i delete it and don't want to do it again, but then after 2-3 years my brain is like  sims 2  and it repeats
same tho omg

i would be lying if i said i didn't love that gsm relaunched but if they don't bring back wardrobe challenge i'm going to eat their clothes

yeah, that's why they should have waited until they had at least one more game available plus a more stable website lol

Speak for yourself. I am stupid, and I'll gladly be so if being clever is whatever that was.

Also from what I've seen from the Danish gSm facebook group people are very very disappointed (but not surprised) and the hype is over now due to lack of professionalism.

I understand your point
but to be fair, that’s the norm on here
a little hypocritical to want respect
that we don’t give to others
can't really speak for others users about how they do it so that's mostly from my experience c:

it's just a bit ugh that there are only 3 families there, so you have to add a university or something like that to avoid too much inbreeding

And if they couldn't wait, then up the rewards for Sketzmo as an apology for not having more games so it was worth staying. (and buying extra server space for the first month)
