I think both can exist like you can want the company to succeed and know that they need time to make the needed changes happen, AND you're allowed to voice your fair criticism about how it is as a user of the site bc the lag, the lack of https, the lack of really entertainment at the "opening party" was disappointing and they should have known better.
I think most people's criticism come from a "we want this to succeed so why are you fucking it up" though, so I think most of it is meant for them to be better for the overall good. For me it's the same side of the coin and not two different sides.
It's also okay to be disappointed in a product you were excited about, because it didn't live up to standard, but also still enjoying it. That's at least the take-away I got from the Pokemon flop of the new games.
The pokemon mention reminded me of how many games are forced to happen so fast now they end up bad.
