Yeah even if being truthful in situations like that could hurt another person it won't leave it to the last minute and you'd be able to have other plans and not wait for others

Yes this is stupid and annoying it’s ruder to try to keep it from you than be honest even if you would feel hurt by it you’d be allowed to tell them!!!
