likely for a long while since im being forced to either to be tranferred to a different program or forced to work in the clothes washing thing at least once a a week for the foreseeable future which i have made my stance on and refused MULTIPLE times when they've tried before and now they're cornering me so i have no choice (:
I don't know any details, but what options do you have about a different program or is it not something you want at all? And why did they find u the absolute dullest jobb of washing clothes? why don't they help u find something you actually enjoy?
It's one specific other thing they'll send me to lmao. idk much abt it except my brother was there and is adamant that it would not be something for me. And the washing clothes thing is prolly bc we dont have many arenas where i work. it's washing clothes, mechanic (where i am) outside group who mostly moves things for people (And i absolutely out of the question bc they KNOW one of the men there makes me insanely uncomfortable + i have feet problems) and they have the thrift store but they didnt mention that one as an option, so.

we're ment to work towards getting an actual job (but they continously try to push me into jobs in big stores that i've told them doesnt work for me (: ) but we put that on the backburner bc i was ment to focus on the personality disorder course im going to participate in. and then they just spring this meeting on me, wanting to change things anyways bc the wait was longer than expected. and they chose to do so KNOWING my therapist is on vacation so i cant even talk to her abt all this fucking shit. they also only gave me the weekend to come up with an answer, so i have literally no opportunity to raise this with ANY of my other helpers before they want a response

You definitively should insist that you have to talk with your therapist first and that you want to discuss it with a professional before making a decition.

why can't they wait? what is so pressing like?
i don't get it like this shit is supposed to help you right? and they just do this while any professionals can say anything and you practically have no choice? I'd feel extremely comfortable and over-run and powerless in these situations, and I think they should hear exactly how they make you feel tbh. like new opportunities comes, and like you always have the old plan to fall back on, so what if it takes longer?

what would happen if you said no? that you're not comfortable with making these changes and that you want to stay with the old plan where you're able to discuss it with your therapist and such. you def should try to say you want to wait. get it confirmed instead of assuming (even if the chance is high they still say no)
