It's a weird tradition. We've started doing "nonfirmations" too where you say you don't believe in god. If you say yes to believing in god when you're 13 or 14 you pay church tax when you turn 18.

I guess it's just a me thing, I am okay with religion but I would never want to pay even a cent for that if it comes to me and my salary
