yes, they removed https while rewriting the code or something to better support https without crashing. so currently it is not protecting you. they recommended you don't use it before you feel safe doing so.

yea we talked abt that briefly here, vp is forgiven here tho bc gsm just relaunched without the modern security layers in place which is against EU's internet safety regulations haha
