yea its super hard bcs you wouldnt think that there would be so many different styles but retro anime had so much variety when it came to characters compared to modern anime. Also doesnt make it better that all references on pinterest or other search engines are overrun with ai slop which is terrible for artists

OMG YES god like i mainly use pinterest for reference images and stuff but even that is getting overrun with garbage and then in the comments people are are arguing over if its ai or not n its always so obvious
