I have lights all over my room that we can pretend are christmas lights, even tho I keep them up all year round
It just looks so good and cozy and I can't wait 'til we get our Christmas tree in and decorate it (though that won't be before a few days before Christmas eve)

Yeah, since we get a real tree we usually don't buy it until the 22nd or 22rd, so I'll have to wait a whole month to decorate. Decorating the tree has been my task for the past few years and I love it <3

Usually we buy it the weekend before Christmas, then we get it in 22nd or if the weather is going to be bad we'll get it in 21st. Then we'll all decorate together 23rd and drink tea, perhaps eat æbleskiver. It's so nice

If it is a tree that has been packed then it's to let the branches fall so there will be room for decorations and candles.

Has it been in the plastic thing for long then? Cause for us the trees are out so we can see and pick the one we like and then they put it in the plastic thing, so it's literally just in the plastic for the 5 min drive home lol
