well its been a while since i modded sims 3 but i dont think youre supposed to create the mods folder 
I didnt have the folder, so i had to make it. I think its in order to find it in case it breaks the game 
well just plop the file into the folder i guess, just make sure you unpack it if its inside a rar or zip folder

its inside a zip folder when you download it you just have to make sure to extract the files out of it cause i dont think the game reads the file when its zipped

y know good question id just ignore whatever it says if i was you and just download the 1k one unless you have an extremely beefy computer
