GOOOD ur just like me frfr i think its sooo fun especially because some of the characters have freako speech quirks that only work in japanese so the translators had to figure out how to do it in english... its very funny
kanata (fish boy who cant swim) only speaks in hiragana in jp so  he sounds kinda slow n dazed when he speaks. in english translation they made him speak with quotations on random words to kinda immitate the weirdo feeling and its so fuckin funny because he will "talk" like hes saying something very "suspicious"!

natsume red one from switch ends all his sentences in katakana in jp to come off as strange n mysterious and  in english translation they made him end all his sentences likE THIS. so it just looks like hes triPPING. and stumbling at the end of each sentENCE.
I can’t wait to see all of this in action because it’s very funny ….. I feel like the translation is also being v goofy with honorifics n politeness,,, I think I’m very used to anime type media just assuming all the weebs know that stuff by now hshdkxl

the caps in the end so funny that’s like how I type when I’m excited, maybe he’s excited about being mysterious in English…..
yea u right i think thats why it feels so funny because theyre not rlly doing too much to localize it ig... although they make aira talk like a twitter stan somtimes
