it's a completely different project. starting new projects (or bringing back alive old ones) are RISKY. they need to make sure it's profitable, otherwise the higherups at that company wouldn't allow it.

also, just way too many ppl got scammed on IndieGoGo, even if I WAS a diehard fan I wouldn't trust that my money with that
