I keep looking at the books on shelf, but they seem kind of intimidating honestly?? Perfect for summer though, because 0 responsibility.

I have listened to the audiobooks, but it's been quite some time. I recently did listen to the hobbit though, with Andy Serkis as the narrator

imo the "intro" before the story actually starts is kinda heavy to read, it gets a bit easier after that though

for sure!! that's why i haven't read the silmarillion yet, i'm terrified lmao sad
