Tbf that’s sorta how I use Goodreads anyways like I just sorta enjoy scrolling thru the feed to see what people are reading with minimal interaction!
Image buddy reads do seem quite fun, n when I made acc I did make a vp club for the lolz haha!
added you weeee
haha ^^
i have a club there about reading non-english classics. i added 99 titles to it and the site is so bugged because of the number of books i added that it keeps crashing but i'm on book 1 of 99 suggestions now
That’s a lotnof classics will you read them all

this is makin me think I should make my brother join storygraph cos he’s currently trying to read through a bunch of classics
haha, no I won't read them all but I'm hoping for a few. I've always struggled with classics and esp. the english ones people ALWAYS RECOMMEND the same books I can't stand to read (slander @ wuthering heights, catcher in the rye, etc.) and I'd rather just have someone give me an analytic essay on them. That would be much more fun.

SO I SWITCHED COUNTRY.
Started with a finnish classic with a hare in it - the year of the hare!! And I think my second one will also be finnish - the purge! Third is going to be russian - brother karmazov (something can't spell it from memory). Forth looks like it may be "east of eden" even tho it's NOT a non-english classic :eyes:

That’s roughhhh 😫 I’d say reading on the bus is always an option but honestly I can’t ever focus on the bus
I get motion sickness so bus is just trying not to scroll time and hoping i don't have to stand for 2x20mins if it is full and that i don't miss my second buss even tho they go frequently but its SO ANNOYING
PAINNN yeah im like 50/50 if i get motion sick or not too but cars are wayyy worse for me than the bus… commuting so painful espec with more than one bus… so glad my mom lended me her electrical bike while im here so i can avoid it 💀
I WISH I WORKED WITHIN ELBIKE DISTANCE

We’ve got a decent chunk of like modern classics ig from the mid 1900s that’s like working class literature that would be considered classics to Swedes I think…. Mina drömmars stad and  utvandrarna,,, there’s prolly other stuff but this is what I read in school… or well I didn’t read those specifically but in that genre
