I don't like how Disney feminizes Mulan's merchandise. Mulan hated wearing frilly dresses and refused to conform. That's what made her badass. All of her dolls have her in pretty kimonos and dresses, why?
because their audience is little girls. little girls are going to want her in her pretty little kimono, not her shiny hard armor :-)

from my choice in disney princess you know i am all for women empowerment and i know that women can do what men can and even better in some cases. BUT if i were to buy a mulan doll, even i know it would be in a kimono with her hair long and braided
