I have experienced that issue like 3 years ago? But I used a very shitty free vpn back then.

There aren't a lot of good free ones and I haven'tĀ  really used a vpn in ages bc there are no new tv shows I'm interested in enough to pirate them, so I can't say if google will detect that it's a vpn.
