Okay I'm sad to report that Ammonite wasn't that good in my opinion.

I didn't have high hopes because it's the same director who did God's own country but I thought it would be better because of the cast.

It is basically an indie arthouse film with a super famous cast

Yes that one.

I don't want to stop you, maybe you are more into arthouse movies than I am.

No it's definitely a bigger topic in the movie, but they don't talk about it a lot (especially not a lot of scientific background talk) it's mainly visual,  her going to the beach, her working on the fossil in her shop, her selling fossils

I still haven't found the list bc there is so much stuff on my flash drive oof

In the meantime I'm gonna watch another movie

Help me decide, portrait of a lady on fire or Vita & Virginia?

I watched portrait of a lady on fire and it was a nice movie, but somehow it didn't move me as much as I thought it would.
Maybe I was extra depressed that night.

I'm gonna watch benedetta next, strangely enough it's my first Verhoeven film and I'm a bit sceptical because of what I have read about his films.

Personally speaking, it does not be interesting to me.

There are not so many good ones or ones I like or can relate to.

A few I really like tho, from the top of my head:

Persona (1966)
All About My Mother (1999)
Tropical Malady (2004)
Mulholland Drive (2001)
Moonlight (2016)
The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant (1972)
The Wise Kids (2011)

TV Series:
Skam
Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Want to check out: Happy Together (1997)

And I could probably make a much longer list of ones I disliked.
