It was very quick. I go in, sit in the chair and they cool the area with some cold air thing and then they laser me only for like a minute (less probably) and then it's done. I got to wear super cool orange laser glasses.
Pain - I used numbing cream but didn't feel like it numbed my arm that well tbh. It felt like getting hit with a rubber band over and over. Like the laser was pulsating. Despite numbing cream I would still say getting the tattoo was more painful than the laser. It hurt but it wasn't that bad.
After - It looked a little lighter right after but now at home it's a little swollen and red behind the text. I think I read you will see a difference as it heals but don't trust me on that. I got an ice pack to cool it with every hour.
Next appointment is in 3 months so like it's a long process.
Overall I'm happy. The one that did it was super nice and the process was very quick and simple. Before doing it you have a consultation where they estimate how many times you have to do it and pricing and answer any questions you might have.
