I remember that election quite vividly because one of my elective courses in high school was English with a political and societal orientation and we were 10 in total in the class, and 8 out of 10 thought it was going to be a landslide victory while me and another guy was like.. these people elected Bush jr. not only once but twice.

It was honestly such a cringey time, because it was my senior year. Kids were either very far left or very far right so I felt like the odd one out.
