I've read waaaay too few books this year so recommend me some. (Also my friends are way to busy to read so our book club is on hold)
I really enjoyed The Cactus, I kinda like how annoying the narrator were. But I loved Eleanor Oliphant as well, last year's fave for me.
Right now I'm reading three books at once, The Last Words He Told Me by Lauren Dave (in hungarian translation) The Maid by Nita Prose (in hungarian translation) and The Villa by Rachel Hawkins
So far the Last Thing He Told Me seems more like a drama novel than a thriller, but I love family dramas as well. The Villa's protagonist is extremely annoying, not in the good way. And I'm only a few pages in The Maid.
I have a few books lined up next, a bunch of thrillers and books from Reese's book club. And Lapvona seems very intriguing.
What was your fave from 2023 til now? What are your reading plans for the summer?
