they prefer college so I’m nervous I won’t get the job but there’s a nationwide teachers shortage in the us (idk about other countries) and they have an opening so we’ll see
hopefully the insurance will be good cuz I have so much debt from medical care I received to treat my nervous break (I don’t have universal healthcare for context)
the pay will be ass but I can get a part time waitressing job at night. I’ll have a consistent schedule of 8-3 if I get the job. That will be better than working 12 hour + shifts every weekend and late, erratic hours at the care home.
i gotta get out of this opportunity free town riddled with suicides (highest county rate per capita state wide), rising rents, housing and healthcare shortages, neo-nazis, and meth. If things go to plan I will work until the end of the 2023/2024 school year, then move to the town two hours away with more potential and promise (and girls lol). If not I’ll just work at the unionized grocery store until the apartment I wanna move to has an opening (hopefully by spring!)
I mean I’d rather hang myself from the stairwell banister of my apartment hallway than work at a grocery store. However I learned my lesson from last time. Plus what if I got caught and my neighbor cut me down and I ended up a vegetable like Terri schaivo lol
